  • How does Jen use Movement & Breath Work?

    Jen draws from her background as a Pilates Instructor to add specific yet gentle movements of the body along with different breathing techniques to help tissue release easier. Occasionally she may also recommend a strengthening exercise here and there to create as much balance as possible in a specific area and/or in the entire body as a whole.

  • Why does Movement & Breath Work help during a session?

    Gentle movements during bodywork, including stretching & engaging of tissue, addresses the nervous system directly. This can not only help tissue release easier, but may actually change the communication lines between the tissue and the brain, breaking dysfunctional patterns and improving overall flexibility, balance and strength.
